Local Culture and Customs
Live local experiences.

LOCAL CULTURE
Although the coast is the main attraction, there is much to see and do to enrich your visit even more. Much of what you eat is produced nearby, such as tapioca, which uses cassava starch, produced in flour mills. Fish and seafood come from the artisanal oesca that still exists in the region. The decoration and dishes of many clay restaurants are produced right here. There are many stories to hear to further enrich your trip.
GETTING TO KNOW THE LOCAL CULTURE
The best thing is to explore on your own and let yourself be carried away by what you discover on your travels. There are already local guides who work with various attractions to bring tourists closer to the local community. Note that each time of year has its attractions, as some depend on harvesting or fishing. All of these tours prioritize limiting the number of tourists, so as not to disturb the privacy of several members of the community who make their home the workplace where you will be visiting.
"How about lunch at a typical fisherman's hut."
In addition to the natural beauty of this tour, we suggest you take the opportunity to have lunch with your feet in the sand at a typical shack owned by Mr. Bento's fishing family. Fresh fish and lobsters are grilled and served with side dishes. We suggest you book your lunch on the way to and from the tour to Lençóis Ceará, so that it will be ready for you. This way, you won't waste time waiting for your lunch to be prepared.
